For the workpiece with decorative requirements, the following specific inspection can be used as a method of quality control.

      ① Measure the surface roughness.

      ③ Compare with the standard sample. There is an element of subjective judgment in this approach.

      The first two methods provide objective or quantitative. The roughness test recorder can provide a complete record of the surface structure, but because the decorative effect is judged by the human feeling, the reflectivity measurement results will be more recognized in the actual detection. For very smooth surfaces, it is appropriate to measure the reflectivity of the polished surface, but the strong harsh light generated by the polished surface will hinder the measurement of the surface reflectivity, so the measurement of reflectivity is sometimes difficult to use as a quality inspection standard.
